When a production needs the sound and the sight of a real North East brass band, Backworth Colliery Band brings 140 years of colliery heritage, a purple and gold uniform and a wide repertoire.

The band is amateur, but it is a professional set of people to work with: responsive, organised and easy to deal with, whether the job is in the North East or further afield.

The band is amateur and self-funding, so every fee goes back into instruments, music and the Training Band.
