Brass Band for Remembrance & Civic Events

Remembrance parades, services, commemorations and civic ceremonies.

Civic & Ceremonial

Music for Occasions That Matter

Remembrance and commemoration have long been part of the band’s year. Backworth Colliery Band marches in Remembrance parades, plays at services and memorials, and leads civic occasions with the dignity they deserve.

On the march the band is led by its percussion, usually the bass and side drums, and at the service it can play hymns, marches and the music of remembrance.

Booking

Every booking is priced individually, depending on the event, the location, the music and the number of players. The band is amateur and self-funding, so every fee goes back into instruments, music and the Training Band. Tell us about your event through the enquiry form and we will come back to you with a quote.
